"Get moving"

Traxxas has steadily updated the 4-year-old E-Maxx truck with hotter bodies, wider arms to improve its suspension and, shortly after its release, the awesome EVX ESC that proved to be a huge benefit. Other than its dual-motor/dual-battery power system, the E-Maxx’s most noteworthy feature is its cushy front and rear independent suspension.

The E-Maxx also has an almost endless list of performance upgrades available, and that’s always a huge plus. The E-Maxx has a nitro sibling. Apart from their power sources, the E-Maxx and nitro-motivated T-Maxx are almost identical.

The EVX ESC was developed with the well-known and highly respected Novak Electronics. Its absolutely bulletproof and delivers an incredible 14.4 volts to the motors. The two Titan 550 motors have built-in armature-cooling fans for long-lasting performance. These motors offer the perfect balance of power and run time. The E-Maxx’s skidplates can take a beating, and they protect the truck’s front and rear gearboxes from damage. The satin finish on the bumpers lasts long and hides chips well.

The E-Maxx is well-known for its jumping abilities. It easily gets into the air but needs a bit more throttle finesse than the Twin Force to set it up for a four-wheel landing. It does, however, recover quite well from less than perfect jumps.
