The body is painted with original Ford colors. Ford “Diamond white” and “Sand silver” The chassis is built using the original parts. Mods that you can't see include hard-anodized pinion and Tamiya Teflon bearings for all of the bearing points.
For the wheels I take these RPM Revolver 2.2" Truck Wheels and center caps (aluminum) I found at the rc4wd website, and they are a perfect fit in my opinion. The rims are Pro-Line Dirt Hawg 2.2". I think it looks nicer with them. But i was very disappointed with the flex, without locked diffs you were going nowhere. Upon assembling my F350 I already noticed the holes in the skid-plate and the unused parts L1 & L10... So now, my Hi-Lift decided to 4-link. It is solid, no side to side movement and it all works smoothly.
The driver comes from the HiLux and the interior is from the Bruiser. It was easy to modify the transmission. (Description coming soon... )
On the electronics end, I used what I had around: Tamiya TEU-302BK and a Futaba 3010 high torque BB servo. Shift servo is a standard Futaba 3003. For the radio I used my Hitec Agressor SRX and a HIS-03MK.
The winch is a part from the Wild Willy. Fortunately the space in the High Lift's bull bar was practically designed for this! The winch is fitted with two screws in a small aluminum back plate. No other mods needed!
This was an absolute pleasure to build this Truck!
