"The first one..."

After browsing through the Tamiya r/c guide book i want a off road buggy.  I didn't have much experience and want something strong and reliable so i purchased the Tamiya fighter buggy from our local toy shop.
Standard acoms radio gear all round and Tamiya (sanyo) 1400SP 7.2v battery.

This is an ideal machine for those who are just getting started into the exciting radio control buggy scene. Economical price, ease of assembly and sturdy construction are important features in a beginner's machine. The Fighter Buggy RX fulfils this need. As usual for Tamiya The box art is very good and well illustrated. As you open the box you are greeted by separate boxes and compartments.  Underneath the boxes you find the instructions and stickers.

Modifications

First the original mechanical speed control was exchanged to the Carson Fighter and the Carson Fighter Machine. How well does it go then? This is a very fast buggy and is great for going over jumps and it has excellent grip with the spiked tires. This buggy will survive any crash or jump and come back for more. The 2WD lets down the acceleration and grip but otherwise its a fun basher truck!
